Earlier this month, it was revealed that an alleged privacy protection provider called Onerep was playing fast and loose with the personal information of its clients.

In fact, the company’s owner had also launched dozens of people-search services over the years that sold people’s information, while Onerep charged those same people to have their content taken down.

This is the worst kind of betrayal one could imagine. And unfortunately Onerep is not the only company, both inside and outside the privacy protection sector, where your personal content is not fully secured. These companies may tell you otherwise, but their privacy statements tell another story. They may not profit from selling your information as Onerep did to its clients, but they will share it with affiliates, which only creates more places where it might be located and exploited.

How IronWall360 Is Different

First, we do not own your information, or treat it like a commodity. It belongs to you, and nothing should be done with it without your approval. The protection of that content is our top priority, and we will never share or sell any personal data we collect with anyone, at any time. Period.

As an IronWall360 client, you can be assured that the personal details you entrust in us are collected only for the purpose of searching for them across the breadth of the internet, and making sure they are removed wherever they are found.

We collect only the information we need to keep you safer online.

That does not include such content as your social security number, which is highly sought after by scammers. We don’t need it. Most other companies don’t need it either but they collect it anyway. And the more information a company collects, the more content that becomes vulnerable in the event of a data breach.

Securing your private information and removing it from places it doesn’t belong is our only goal. That is why Supreme Court justices, federal judges, law enforcement, social workers, and other public servants come to us to keep their personnel safe. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously, and we are always here to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.

The trust you place in us will never be misused or taken for granted.
